Little bit about Madu Ganga River Safari

Balpitiya is a little town in the district of Galle in the Southern region of Sri Lanka and Madu river runs through this small city. The Madu River is very rich in biodiversity and opens up into the large Madu Lagoon on its way to the Indian Ocean. This place is an area that consists of mangroves altogether with a total of 64 islands. To enjoy this scenery a boat trip is essential to discover the habitat that is home to a whole lot of species. Visitors can see monkeys eating from trees; when you gaze down you are able to see lizards gliding towards the water while kingfishers are waiting patiently on the banks keeping an eye on their prey.
