Little bit about Little Adam’s Peak

Little Adam’s mountain hike gives the most pleasant time enjoying the sceneries of typical countryside. The mountain is of 1,141 m in height and you will walk through green tea plantations, tea plucking colorful ladies, waterfalls, paddy fields, flower beds and many more.

This mountain is also known as ‘Punchi(little) Sri Pada’ and has been named after Adam’s Peak/ Sri Pada, as it resembles the similar pyramid shape. Watching the sunrise in a morning from the highest point of this mountain would be an unforgettable experience. It is a fairly easy to climb up the mountain, as the path is marked by signs that you can follow. It takes around 45 minutes to one hour to reach the top on a crisscross path. This can be considered as the easiest hike in Ella.

Things to know before you go

  • Total time for the entier journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours up and down
  • Early mornings and late afternoons give the best views and less tiring
  • Be causious when taking pictures at the top specially while on the rock.

Little Adam's peak expedition is one of enjoyable hike i was accomplish 5 years back and i will truly recommend this place if you want to see beautiful panoramic view of Ella. .

it took nearly 1 hour to climb the summit of Little Adam's peak. The climb is not too difficult. If you can start your hike at the evening session ( at around 4.30 PM) you can the beautiful sunset at the summit of the Little Adam's Peak.
